LCMR Phase 1 Volleyball Conditioning Plan – Summer 2020... DATE CORRECTION ADDED!!!

***DATE CORRECTION*** February will begin our first “virtual” Conditioning Sessions. Our 2021 season will start in March.
The most important things for you to have completed are the following:
*Get completely registered in FamilyID
*Fill out the COVID-19 Questionaire either online or on paper. The online version should be submitted to Google Classroom BEFORE THE SESSION each day of conditioning. That is your certification of attendance to the session. The paper version can be handed in the following week.
During Phase 1 we are not permitted to use balls or volleyball equipment. Phase 1 is for CONDITIONING ONLY. Balls will be permitted during Phase II. Guidelines for Phase II will follow soon after.
Here is the suggested conditioning workout for Phase 1:
*Stretching
*Jogging (2 times around the track)
*Dynamics (Varsity player led)
*Sit-Ups/Crunches
*Push-Ups
*Pull-Ups
*Working with light weights
*Jumping Rope
Any and all of these suggestions should be done outside in the shade whenever it's available, using social distancing and safe health habits. Whenever possible, players should wear masks, stay at least six feet apart from others, use hand sanitizer, wash your hands and face frequently and avoid coughs, sneezes and bodily fluids. High fives, fist bumps and other contact-related things are not allowed.
A beach blanket or towel, water bottle, sun screen and light-colored clothing are all recommended for these sessions.
